The Samling Foundation invests in youth and the pursuit of artistic excellence. By providing unique opportunities for young people to learn from and perform alongside great artists, it provides a sanctuary where distinctive talent can be nurtured. The Foundation recognises that there is no substitute for live performance in the presence of the finest artists when performing or teaching. No digital connection can replace physical contact with great people.

'Divining' Project

Since it was established in 1996 gifted and talented young artists have benefited from the Foundation's programmes, through masterclasses and residencies, concerts and exhibitions, or by being given commissions.

Although the Foundation seeks to promote excellence wherever it may be found, it is also committed to sharing that talent with the wider community.

It provides opportunities for young people and the general public to come into direct contact with the artists it works with, many of international standing, to whom they would not normally have any access.

In recent years, the Foundation has received generous sponsorship from individuals, and businesses who have taken a personal interest in its work. In response to many requests for ways in which others might become involved 'The Friends of The Samling Foundation' has been formed. This offers a wide range of benefits and underpins the Foundation's continued success.

If you would like to become a Friend, simply complete the application form on this web site.
