Felicity
Hammond
Felicity was born in Edinburgh and studied at the Royal Scottish
Academy of Music and Drama with Patricia MacMahon. In autumn of
1998 she went to the National Opera Studio. In 1997 she won Scottish
Opera's John Noble Award and was second prizewinner in the Kathleen
Ferrier Awards. Her roles to date include the Countess, Elvira and
Mimi, and Papagena for Scottish Opera. Felicity's career is also
flourishing on the concert platform, engagements including Mozart's
Requiem in the Royal Albert Hall.
