Reviews:
“Emma Gane… (was) in radiant voice, scaling the heights with confidence and style.”
Peter Lloyd Williams, Bath Chronicle, 10 May 2004
“Not a lot is left to the imagination in this brutally and erotically explicit production with its strong cast: Emma Gane is an agonisingly distraught and compromised governess…”
Hilary Finch, The Times, October 2003
“Emma Gane was spellbinding in her Act 2 aria of departing, and even better in the lament over her father’s body, `How shall revenge’, which – to the satisfying romantic sweep of the strings – she delivered with moving tenderness, beautifully phrased and acted.”
David Allinson, Early Music Today, Flavio at London Handel Festival, April 2001
