James Harrison -
James Harrison recently completed studies at the National Opera Studio (supported by British American Tobacco), having graduated from the Royal College of Music and the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His roles in the United Kingdom include Marcello/La Boheme, Conte Almaviva/Le Nozze di Figaro, Marquis de la Force/Dialogues des Carmelites, Sprecher/Die Zauberflöte, Altomaro/Sosarme and Christus/Brocke’s Passion. On the concert platform he has performed with Sir David Willcocks (Messiah) at the Royal Albert Hall; Classical Opera Company at the Barbican; Peter Schreier (Christmas Oratorio) at St John’s, Smith Square; London Mozart Players (Don Giovanni) at Fairfield Halls and in the Young Songmakers concert series. James wishes to gratefully acknowledge the support of the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
