Details: Musichall/Peter Hall Louise Innes trained at the R.SAM.D with Patricia MacMahon, the National Opera Studio, the Samling Foundation with Felicity Palmer and Malcolm Martineau, and the Britten-Pears School. Her operatic roles include Carmen (Opera Holland Park), Cherubino (Garsington Opera), Mezzo 1 in a new opera called God's Liar (Almeida Opera and La Monnaie), Second Lady (Aix-en-Provence Festival) Dido (Bordeaux) and she is currently covering Octavian for Opera North. Her oratorio repertoire is extensive and includes Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle (Dunedin Cons~ort, Messiah (Darlington, Wells Cathedral, Paisley Abbey) Mozart Requiem (Exeter Cathedral) Durufle Requiem (Scottish Chamber Orchestra). "I thoroughly enjoyed my all too brief time at the Samling. To have the opportunity of working in a very small and secluded group in the luxurious surroundings of Bank House with such gifted and giving teachers as Felicity Palmer and Malcolm Martineau was truly wonderful. A perfect jewel of inspiration!" Forthcoming Activities: As well as looking after my two sons Sam (2yrs) and Alfie (6months) I shall be covering roles for ENO (Offred's Double in The Handmaids Tale) and Opera North (Idamante in Idomeneo) and also singing a role for Almeida Opera in the summer.
