 Nicola Mills - Soprano
Originally from Lancashire, soprano Nicola Mills studied at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with Patricia MacMahon.
Nicola broadcasts regularly with the BBC Radio 4 Daily Service
Singers and recently gave a live broadcast on BBC Radio 4 from St. Martin in the Fields of Mozart Missa Brevis K337. She has performed
in many of the leading venues throughout the UK including Kings College, Cambridge, The Bridgewater Hall, St Martin in the Fields,
The Albert Hall, The Queen Elizabeth Hall and The Barbican in concert
repertoire including Mozart’s Exultate Jubilate, of Handel’s Gloria (Scottish Premiere), Messiah, Jephtha, and L’Allegro, Haydn’s Nelson Mass, The Creation, Vivaldi Gloria and Laudate Pueri, Bach St. Matthew Passion, Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem, Poulenc’s Gloria and
Orff’s Carmina Burana. She has also recently completed a tour of
Vienna performing Schubert’s Mass in G.
Nicola also gives concerts as part of the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music
Now! scheme both in London and the North West . She is very much
looking forward to working with Glyndebourne Festival Opera in the Summer.
