Past
Achievements: Recent works include 'Raft' at Economist Plaza,
London - a functioning castaway's raft made from driftwood and other
items found washed up on the coast at Dungeness, Kent and installed
in the incongruous urban setting of St. James's - and Untitled (Chilterns),
a 7 metre tall structure made from reinforced concrete at the Chiltern
Sculpture Trail, Oxfordshire.
Current
Activities: Continuing participation in the 'Further Up in The
Air' project in a 22-storey residential tower block in Liverpool.
The building is due to be demolished later this year but before
then groups of artists have been invited to stay for month long
periods in flats made available as the residents are moved out.
The last stage of the project occurs in Spring 2003 when the work
that's gradually accumulated throughout the block by a total of
16 different artists will be on show. I did a residency there in
September 2002 but enjoyed the experience so much will be going
back to make more work in time for Spring.
