Lies, seduction and murder. Samling Opera returns with a stu nning new production of Don Giovanni directed by Sir Thomas Allen and starring one of Britain ’s hottest young baritones, Christopher Maltman, in his debut role as Mozart’s greatest anti-hero. Don Giovanni is the story of an irresistible libertine - an unscrupulous free spirit around whom no woman is safe. Mozart’s genius embraces dark comedy and tragic loss in some of the most beautiful music ever heard. Featuring an outstanding young cast of international singers, including Lisa Milne as Donna Elvira, with Northern Sinfonia Chorus and Northern Sinfonia conducted by Thomas Zehetmair, this promises to be one of the year’s highlights .
