Brief
history with Samling: In 1999 I was invited to hold my first
solo show at the Samling Foundation at Dovenest, Windermere. This
was followed in 2000 by my showing with Julian Vilarrubi in the
Foundation Alumni Exhibition at the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick.
Experience
of the Samling: I cannot praise too highly the warmth and encouragement
of all those involved in the Foundation. They have always gone out
of their way to make me believe in myself and to provide the most
valuable opportunities, opening up my career as an artist.
